 I hired my “hatinator”  for my son’s wedding . Jackie was amazing and the  first one she suggested to match my dress was just prefect ( I did try others one but knew I would pick the first one as it was just so perfect). Being able to try the hat on with the rest of your wedding outfit makes the experience brilliant . I had so many compliments at my son’s wedding and felt fabulous whilst wearing it. Choosing a hat at Mrs B's was a lovely experience. So many hats to choose from, I could have taken hours trying them on, but Jackie presented me with what she thought would work and she certainly knows her hats! I loved the hat I chose, and had great customer service from her after a little hiccup meant I needed to change the first choice.

After my son’s wedding 4 years on I visited again for my daughter’s wedding. Mrs B’s is still as fantastic as before. Hired a much admired “hatinator” this time. So much choice. It’s a wonderful shop. Jackie was so helpful.

This is a wonderful shop with a huge range of hats which are beautifully displayed in colour themes making it so easy to choose. Jackie's kindness, patience, talent and humour is exceptional. I would highly recommend Mrs B's Bonnets to everyone, it's fantastic!

I was struggling to find accessories for my mother of the bride outfit and a friend recommended Mrs B's Bonnets.  I needed a fascinator and matching handbag.  I made an appointment and was looked after so well by Jackie.  A lovely lady who knows her stuff! She gave me advice and had a huge range of hats/fascinators with matching handbags to choose from.  Very comfortable place where you take in your wedding outfit so that she can match it to the accessories.  A lovely experience and so easy! I recently decided I had 5 'posh' hats which were unlikely to be worn again by me, just sitting in hat boxes, gathering dust.   I emailed Mrs B and she offered to look at them 'with no obligation'.  'Mrs B' was charming about my hats and offered to buy 3 of them. 

A Win Win situation.  I have cleared space on my wardrobe. A local charity has benefited from a financial donation and 'Mrs B' will be recycling my hats to others - a good way to save resources.

I was struggling to find a place to go to get a hat for an upcoming wedding.  Its so important to actually be able to try a hat on.

Well, I found Mrs B's Bonnets, and the 1 and a half hour trip (each way) from Bude was well worth the journey.  

Jackie is so very helpful, nothing is too much trouble.  She has hats in every shape and colour, even a collection for the chaps and most important "a chair" for the other half.

Thoroughly recommend Mrs B's Bonnets, you will not be disappointed.

 I wasn’t sure if my outfit for a recent wedding needed a hat so I left it to just a couple of days before to arrange to go in and see Jackie. Half an hour later I walked out with the largest hat I have ever hired! It was a large pleasant light space to try on hats with personal service. Jackie went out of her way to make sure we got it right. I ended up buying an ex hire hat for £45.00 which would have cost me at least £100 to buy new. I loved it.  I won’t be going anywhere else for my next weddings.

What a wonderful place Mrs B’s Bonnets is. I had a fab time choosing my hat for my daughters wedding. Jackie was so helpful finding lots for me to choose from and cleverly picking out a colour in my dress that I also ended up matching with my shoes and handbag. We went to Mrs B's today there were a large selection of hats before I went I was a bit apprehensive I need not have been as Jackie was so helpful and made it so easy to choose my beautiful hat. Lovely experience choosing a hat for my son’s wedding. I was amazed at the colour selection and choice of styles. We very quickly honed in on ‘the one’ but Jackie recommended I try it on with the dress to be sure. Looks and feels fantastic! I also came away with a genuine pashmina - feels like softest cashmere and had an iridescent shimmer that meant the colours changed depending on the light, making it a sound investment for the wedding and beyond. This is a wonderful place to go! Jackie was so helpful when I went to find a fascinator to wear at our son's wedding. Being able to put on one's outfit and take time to try on what is on offer (and there's plenty!) is really helpful.

I never thought that I’d be able to wear a fascinator but Jackie was so encouraging and I have to say, once it was on, I could hardly feel it. Many people commented on how lovely it was.

Having hired a wonderful hat for my son's wedding 2 years ago, I knew that I would do the same for my daughter's wedding this year. 
This was the 4th date for the wedding due to the pandemic and Jackie was able to work with us each time the date changed and ensured that the same hat was available each time! 
Jackie helped me select a fabulous hat, instantly understanding what I wanted, and choosing a contrasting colour to go with my outfit.  As before, I had lots of compliments about the hat and it finished off my outfit perfectly.
Mrs B's Bonnets really is a special place and I am sure that anyone would be able to find what they want with Jackie's expert guidance and enormous range of headwear.

Jackie at Mrs B’s Bonnets has been an absolute star. She helped me find the perfect fascinator to complement my outfit for my step-son’s wedding yesterday and made me feel extra special. The wedding has been delayed 4 times due to Covid and Jackie’s patience and flexibility was fantastic and ensured that the fascinator I was hiring was available for me each time. I can’t recommend Jackie and Mrs B’s Bonnets highly enough - the whole experience is a pleasure and the wonderful head accessories are the icing on the cake for that really special occasion.

Well, what a beautiful experience that was.
Personal, friendly appointment.  Huge beautiful changing room for you to change into what you are wearing for your special occasion so you can see the whole look.
Jackie is the hat expert - she instantly knows what will suit you and your outfit but allows you to work your way through the huge range of hats and fascinators to see for yourself.
I would highly recommend a visit - Jackie allows you to take your time in your decision making and makes you feel a very valued customer.

Mrs B's Bonnets was recommended to me by a friend and I am so pleased I took up the recommendation.
I went for my appointment quite convinced I wanted a straw coloured hat with a navy ribbon. However, with the advantage of being able to try on the hats while wearing my wedding outfit, I found out I was totally wrong about what I should have! With Jackie's expert help, I hired a navy hat which went perfectly with my outfit and stayed securely on my head during the wedding, even when it was a bit breezy.
As soon as anyone mentions the possibility of weddings to me now, I straightaway tell them to go to Mrs B's Bonnets for their hat.

Mrs. B's Bonnnets is not just a shop - it's a unique experience...an absolutely fabulous place.
Having allowed 2 hours for the experience of trying on all sorts of hats...guided by Jackie, the first hat I tried on was the perfect match to my outfit ( which I had with me thanks to the generously sized fitting room).
Although a little insecure to start with - this was no problem - as Jackie's suggestion of attaching an Alice band to the hat did the trick & indeed kept the hat in place for the whole day allowing me to feel both special & confident - I have rarely received so many compliments.
I can not recommend Mrs. B's Bonnets highly enough & can't wait for an occasion to visit again.

Brilliant shop. I had struggled to find a hat shop to buy a Hat for my Mum (Mother of the bride), and when you buy online you don't know the colour match, and usually have to pay to send it back. My Mum's outfit was proving difficult to match, but Jackie took me straight to a Hat to match my Mum's jacket. It is perfect.  There is also a very large fitting room (easily get 3 people in there and have space!) to put your outfit on and then choose a hat to suit it.  I will definitely be back next April to get a hat for my sister's wedding. Thanks Jackie, great service.

I have been a customer of Mrs B's Bonnets since the '80s - when the lovely Valerie Bromfield was the original "Mrs B" - and can heartily recommend this hat hire service.
Jackie is brilliant at what she does and will certainly go the extra mile, especially if you are struggling to find something particularly specific.
